Give the Gift of Sight

Give the gift of sight in support of World Sight Day.

World Sight Day is an annual day of awareness and action to bring attention to the more than 1.2 billion people around the world who are blind or vision impaired due to lack of access to an eye exam and a pair of glasses.

World Sight Day is on October 11, 2018

This World Sight Day, Vision Source® has set a goal of providing eye care to 15,000 children in need worldwide. We are proud to play a leading role in global efforts to bring sight and hope to people who are blind or vision impaired simply because they can’t access eye examinations and glasses. To meet this goal we have In addition we hope to raise addition funds to help fill two teaching positions at the Optometry School in Haiti.

Ways To Give

Every $5 gives the gift of sight to one person. Your donations help train local eye care professionals in underserved communities across the globe. So Vision Source has created several ways to give:

  • Bid On Items In Our Online Auction

    Bid on items being auctioned in support of Optometry Giving Sight. The online auction closes on October 5, 2018. Click here to browse and bid on auction items.

  • Purchase Branded Items

    Visit our online store to browse our World Sight Day branded clothes and items. By purchasing World Sight Day branded products 50% of your purchase will be donated to Optometry Giving Sight.

  • Make A Quick Donation

    Submit a one time donation directly to the Vision Source Member Support Center World Sight Day campaign.

  • Become A Monthly Donor

    Show your support by signing up to be a monthly donor. Your monthly donation will support eye care service delivery, education, and training programs in developing communities across the globe.
