Adam Schefter Visits VS Optometrist | Vision Source

Recently, ESPN's sports anaylist, Adam Schefter, visited a Vision Source optometrist in New York City, Dr. Susan Resnick, for his annual eye exam. Shefter knows first hand the importance of eye exams as his wife suffers from diabetes, a disease that can be identified during an exam. This year,  with Dr. Resnick's recommendations, Schefter made some changes to his eye wear decisions. Read the following interview to learn more:

During your recent eye exam with a Vision Source doctor, what was recommended to you?

“25 years. They are great until you lose them! With long days, comfort could become an issue as well. I really needed a better solution.”

Had you ever worn contacts before and if so tell me about your experience?

"Yes, once and it was a little frustrating. I liked not having to wear glasses but got frustrated with nightly cleaning.  I didn't actually wear the contacts very consistently because they seemed to be more of a daily hassle than the convenience that I was after in the first place.  At the end of the day, I was wearing my glasses again”

Do you think you'll ever go back to glasses or another type of contacts?
