Meet Our Doctors
Daniel C. Little, O.D.
Dr. Daniel Little has been in practice in Mandan since 1979. Dr. Little is a 1973 graduate of Bismarck Junior College and a 1977 graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry. He is a past president of North Dakota Vision Services and a current member. He also is a past president and current member of the Mandan Rotary Club, as well as a past member of the Mandan Hospital Board. Dr. Little is married to Deb Little and they have three children: Linn, Lauren and Danny. Dr. Little raises registered Quarter Horses and is an advid hunter and fisherman. He is a member of American Optometric Association and the North Dakota Optometric Association.
Terry D. Schmidt, O.D.
Dr. Terry Schmidt was born and raised in Mandan and returned home to join the practice in 1984. He attended North Dakota State University from 1976 to 1979 where he was enrolled in the Pharmacy Program. Dr. Schmidt graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1984. He is a past Exalted Ruler of the Mandan Elks and a current member, and also Past President of the Mandan Optimist Club. Dr. Schmidt is married to Lori Schmidt and they have three children: Ben, Alex and Carly. Dr. Schmidt enjoys traveling, hunting, and boating and fishing on the Missouri River. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the North Dakota Optometric Association.
Brittany G. Schauer O.D.
Dr. Brittany (Becker) Schauer joined Vision Source - Mandan in the summer of 2012. She grew up on a farm and ranch near Streeter, ND and attended school in Napoleon, where she graduated as valedictorian in 2004. Dr. Schauer went on to recieve a Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Mary in 2008. She obtained her optometric education from Pacific University College of Optometry where she graduated in 2012, with honors. Dr. Schauer is a member of the North Dakota Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. She also is a current member of the Bismarck-Mandan Young Professionals group. In her spare time, Dr. Schauer enjoys riding and competing on her horses (particularly barrel racing), playing the piano and violin, making custom rodeo arena shirts, and going fishing on the river with her husband, Dave Schauer. She is also an active member of the Mandan Rodeo Committee, the Mandan Horse and Saddle Club, and coaches youth volleyball in Mandan.
